Hello, I'm Jim Shaddox, one of the original "Friends" and currently, HC Board President. I came to Tuscaloosa as a student at UA and have not been able to escape since grad school in economics '82. I am a small business owner in structural light-guage steel for light commercial and residential construction throughout the South. My work with Hurricane Creek is part of a commitment to life-long care for our environment and to help others to keep in touch with and appreciate that being in natural places IS the good life.
