JULIA CHERRY
Julia Cherry is a wetland ecologist interested in understanding ecological patterns in wetlands from the population to ecosystem levels. She is most interested in the ways in which wetland plants affect the structure and function of coastal and inland wetlands of the southeastern US. She is an assistant professor in New College and Biological Sciences at the University of Alabama. Her interests in Hurricane Creek stem from her experiences as an undergraduate student working for the USGS in various streams and rivers throughout Alabama. She has been a board member of FoHC since December 2006.
